About the role

Reporting to the VP of Product, you’ll work on the optimization and enhancement of consumer experience.

 

• Collaborate on rapid iterations of the design, development, and deployment cycle to deliver UX enhancements and features

• Write clean, testable code using a test-driven design methodology

• Develop across the stack, but with a focus on the front-end

• Implement A-B testing infrastructure to assess iteration success

 

What you need

• BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience

• 3 years experience writing & debugging web application software

• Javascript development experience using Angular.js or similar framework

• PHP development experience using Laravel or similar framework

• Strong CSS skills

• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL queries

• GIT proficiency

• Comfortable working in a Linux environment

• A firm understanding of best practices for responsive web design in cross-browser environments

Lead/Senior Full Stack Python Developer (REF#B102)

Our client is looking for a Lead Full‐Stack Software Engineer to lead our Product Engineering Team who is passionate about code craftsmanship, continuous improvement and agile development. Experience crafting web applications using Python, specifically Flask, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and extremely strong unit testing are a must.

What will you do?

  • Contribute to the product’s vision and goals, as well as technical strategy. Lead the team in building a best‐in‐class machine learning platform and related tools.

  • Oversee an exceptional group of engineers with a strong team‐oriented culture Provide technical leadership to drive the design and deployment of extremely large Machine Learning as a Service web applications and suite of products.

  • Develop functional product prototypes in support of marketing, sales, and UX research and discovery efforts. Debug, troubleshoot and fix issues across multiple browsers. Actively take part in evangelism activities: e.g. giving tech talks, running webinars, leading internal hack‐a‐thons and coordinating lunch & learns / DoJos. Mentor the professional development of each direct report through personal and performance management and coaching.

  • Work with purpose: contribute to deploying machine learning models that drive real business impact across industry verticals

  • Demonstrable experience with agile/SCRUM or similar methodologies for continuous development of product and technology

  • An Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Math, or similar degree

  • Penchant for great algorithm design and strong CS fundamentals

  • Strong passion for QA, usability and accessibility

  • Maniacal about TDD fundamentals, including experience with Gherkin language syntax Ability to work on a diverse team or with a diverse range of people, and in a rapidly changing multi‐disciplinary work environment

Front-End Developer-Angular (REF#B110)

Our client is looking for a Front-End Developer on their Cloud Engagements Team. As a client developer you will work with senior developers to build an intuitive and efficient leading-edge cloud auditing software solution where we add new features in an agile environment in support of clear product direction. 

​

Responsibilities: 

  • Work in an agile team with other developers, UX developers, testers and product owner to build an innovative, high quality, user friendly features 

  •  Participate in code reviewing other developers work, to ensure code quality, share knowledge and provide mentorship 

  • Research and explore new technologies, code libraries and products we may wish to integrate with 

 

Requirements: 

  • 3+ years web and enterprise development experience 

  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript 

  • Experience with AngularJS, TypeScript, CKEditor 

  • Strong OOP skills 

  •  B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent education / work experience 

  •  Desire to be challenged with new technologies 

 

Nice to Have: 

  • Experience working in an Agile environment 

  • Experience working with MVCP, MVC, MVP or similar design patterns 

  • Understanding of Accounting or Auditing concepts 

  • AWS experience (or other cloud platform provider) 

  •  Server development experience (Java, C# or databases)
